EXHIBITION AT MERE SANDS WOOD NATURE RESERVE - JANUARY 27th to FEBRUARY 22nd.
I am very please to announce, that I will be exhibiting my photographs at Mere Sands Wood Nature Reserve from January 29th to February 22nd 2010.The Exhibition room is on the right as you walk in the main reception area. I will have upto 50 framed images exhibited, all of which will be available for purchase should you choose.A percentage of all sales will go to Mere Sands Wood Nature Reserve.

PRESENTATION FOR 85 GROUP PHOTOGRAPHY CAMERA CLUB - FEBRUARY 9th 2010
I will be doing a presentation at 85 Camera Club on February 9th 2010. The venue will be the Hazel Grove Tennis & Bowling club on Douglas Road, Hazel Grove,SK7 4JG.Presentation starts at 8.00pm. PRESENTATION FOR PRESTON BIRD WATCHING & NATURAL HISTORY SOCIETY - FEBRUARY 7th 2011.
I will be doing a presentation for Preston Birdwatching & Natural History Society on Fedruary 7th 2011.Presentation starts at 8.00pm. All my images will be projected onto a large fixed projector screen using a 4000 lumens digital projector. There will be a lot of prints scattered around the room. I will be showing some slide shows to music. So why not come along.

FOLLOW UP:
I did a presentation for the camera club where I have been a member for the past 3 years now. It went rather well with me showing up to 400 Digitally projected images at 1400 x 1050 on a 8' screen. They look awesome on a big screen rather than showing A3 sized prints at the front of the room. I also put together 2 PictureToExe slide shows, both accompanied by music. One was actually 50 photogtraphs of grey seals taken at Donna Nook in December 2008 and the other was approx 40 photographs of the military airshow at RAF Fairford 2008.I know the title above says wild birds in flight, but I do wildlife photography amongst other things.

FOLLOW UP:
I gave the presentation to approx 25 members who made me feel very welcome, for which I am most grateful, it was most appreciated. I showed approx 200 images but still finished slightly earlier than the planned time of 2 hours.Most members were asking questions which showed a lot of interest in what I was showing them. All images were projected onto a large screen, which I must say, Made the birds look better than on my computer, never seeing the images projected before the presentation, it gave me a pleasant surprise. After the presentation a lot of the members came up to me asking me questions and telling me what they like to photograph and where they go for nature shots, which I will now endevour to go and find and get my own shots.Thanks for that.I thank Halton Photographic Society for inviting me to do the presentation especially Geoff Deardon there club president.
